Mark 7:1-8,14-15,21-23 – The Rule of Love

The return to school means a return to routine and rules. In this assembly, children will learn that Jesus taught that true holiness comes from the inside out. Pupils will be encouraged to make love the guiding rule in their lives!

Week 2 – WC 9th September – I can say one good thing about myself

Mark 8:27-35 – God’s Plans

In this week’s Gospel, Jesus confounded the expectations of His disciples. This assembly helps children learn that God’s plans can be surprising and that following Jesus involves expecting the unexpected – with the assurance that Jesus is with us every step of the way.
