The school’s motto is: “Journeying together with Jesus Christ, we learn to love and love to learn.”

Our curriculum is designed to ensure that children achieve their full potential academically, spiritually and personally. We aim to develop good global citizens in a modern and world class system – children that are prepared for success in life. The school aims to ignite children’s love of learning through opportunities to excite, enrich and explore! The school offers extensive opportunities for pupils to share their voice and be represented across committees and communities within the school. All pupils are offered the opportunity to represent the pupil body and the process for some of these roles form part of the democratic process within the school. All pupils learn the importance of demonstrating respect for the learning environment and for those elected into representing the school.

At Ss John Fisher & Thomas More, we work within a Catholic ethos to create an inclusive learning culture, where children are challenged in their thinking, strive for continuous improvement and are committed to lifelong learning. Our values are rooted in the Gospel: those of forgiveness – reconciling with others; courage – standing up for what is right and the individual liberty of others; peace – promoting a learning environment where tolerance of faiths and beliefs is supported across the curriculum; and compassion – demonstrating love and empathy in all areas and members of the school community.
