Our Catholic Ethos

At Ss John Fisher and Thomas More our Catholic faith is at the heart of everything we do. We strive to create an environment where our pupils can grow spiritually, academically, and personally, guided by the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church.

• We foster a strong sense of community rooted in Christian values; this is evidenced through the relational practice we have embedded throughout teaching and behaviour approaches;

• Daily prayer and reflection, alongside structured sessions for prayer and liturgy, are integral to our school life;

• We take every opportunity Mass regularly and observe important feast days and build excellent relationships with our school priest, Fr David Irwin;

• Our curriculum is infused with Catholic social teaching

Parents as Partners

We value the role of parents as the primary educators in faith and work together to nurture our children’s spiritual growth:

• Regular communication about RE topics and Catholic life activities

• Invitations to school Masses and liturgies
